I’ve been recovering from years of depression and self-harm. My boyfriend has been helping me recover every step of the way, by funding my treatment and making sure I’m never alone. Today I was feeling really down about myself. He tossed me my dictionary and said to look up “beautiful.”

i'm a working girl
finally started my first day of work today. the experience was amazing and most customers were really nice. i was terrified at first, having no experience and being plunged into the deep end of things but once i gained the hang of things, thank God everything started to go so smoothly. before i knew it, my 5 hour shift was up and i was on my way to town!

A long time ago, I went to see a band at a small club in Chicago, the band was unknown and broke. After the show, they scraped up enough money to go and buy fast food for all the homeless men near the club. The band? Fall Out Boy. Good karma GMH.
had an amazing dinner with russ at SICC today. i mean for 2 people we ordered to feed a miniature army. i had butter chicken, garlic naan, sashimi, tempura maki, russ’s weird maki and cha udon :D and cocktails after. i love it outside the bar, it’s so nice and quiet and peaceful and i got a leg massage :P but the bill was a bomb haha i think plus drinks it was close to $100. not to...
today was nice (: had a chill time with my homies shinny and rachel @ starbucks today where i finished my article for bea’s and rach’s magazine. i feel so accomplished and on top of the world because i had a yummy sushi dinner with my family too!

invictus was so inspiring. i love how Nelson Mandela (in the show) used rugby to unite a nation. i think that sport not only cultivates character but also bridges language barriers. it is a universal language which speaks to the hearts and touches the soul. he is my new hero. i love how he spent 27 years in prison but came out with a body anointed with forgiveness for those who put him in there...

im so frustrated at not knowing why im frustrated. it’s like i got this massive amount of pent up frustration in me and i don’t know how to get it out. this is so frustrating grrrrrrrr
